Description & Requirements

The Senior Manager- North America Corporate Communications will support Kraft Heinz Company corporate brand communications activity and media relations across the U.S. and Canada. They will work closely with the Global Corporate Communications team and North America Zone leadership.

Reporting to the Associate Director- Global Press Room- the individual in this position will be a key member of the company’s media relations team and assist with developing communications strategies and activation plans around key corporate projects. This person will also ensure that all communications and activity reflect the Company’s core values and advance Kraft Heinz’s business strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop external communications strategies and activation plans to help amplify key corporate initiatives across North America- including merger & acquisition activity- ESG-related advancements- executive visibility and more.
  • Act as key member of corporate media relations team- helping pitch corporate news stories through the lens of NAZ strategic growth plan- develop media statements and press releases- and build and maintain business media relationships.
  • Work with Brand PR & media team to identify brand innovations to continue to tell our Company transformation story with business- financial- corporate media (in compliment to brand PR team efforts with consumer media).
  • Participate in SSM/crisis and issues management for the NA Zone- helping build response plans and messaging for various external and internal team members.
  • Assist team with development and execution of limited NALT Executive Visibility & NAZ Growth plans- helping position company leadership and subject matter authorities as leading industry voices externally.
  • Serve as project manager for key NAZ corporate communications team projects- including assistance in timeline/work back development and ensuring project checkpoints are hit.
  • Work with team Content Creators to build and maintain library of NAZ storytelling assets.
  • Assist with media monitoring and reporting systems along with broader News Engine team.
  • Handle relevant partner/vendor relationships.
  • Spearhead a communications effort that will instill a sense of financial and project organization across the team- inspiring confidence and credibility among collaborators.


Domain Expertise

  • 7+ years of working experience at a global consumer organization or communications agency.

Experiences and Skills

  • BA in Communications or equivalent.
  • Corporate communications experience.
  • Media strategy and media relations prowess.
  • Executive visibility plan development and execution.
