About the Position
 

We have an exciting opportunity available for a R&D Product Development Specialist to make a difference in our R&D organization in Kraft Heinz. This position lies within the Continental Europe First Food R&D team- reporting to the First Food Manager. 

Get ready for working in International team- as proactive contributor- getting projects delivered and collaborating with internal and external partners. The job holder will work in a multi-functional team and will effectively collaborate across functions. 


Main Responsibilities

  • Introduction of new products and processes within factories. Collaborate and influence internal and external project teams (Teams are made up of R&D Product- Packaging and Process- Project Managers- Marketing- Quality- Regulatory- Engineering- Factories- Co-Manufacturing- Procurement- and Supply Chain- etc.) to develop- industrialize- and launch Innovation- Renovation- Value Creation and Supply Chain projects.
  • Design- plan and execute the development steps (e.g. kitchen- pilot plant- and internal/external factory) for new products according to the objectives- costs and deadlines. This includes establishing and managing timelines- uncovering roadblocks- defining critical paths- and identifying resource constraints.
  • Partner with Marketing to define the strategy- generate ideas and concepts within the supported product category
  • Collaborate with International R&D team to influence the technology program to get future proof technical enablers needed for the supported product categories.
  • Connect with Intl. BUs (especially Northern Europe) for projects harmonies and knowledge/best methodology sharing.


Qualifications

Hard Skills 

  • Master’s degree in Food Science &Technology (or equivalent in related field as Biology- Chemistry- Engineering)
  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience in food companies and product development.
  • Ability to understand science & technology and translate in products solution- data driven decision maker
  • Consumer focus- curious about trends and food innovations
  • Strong proficiency in English
