About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Shopper Marketing Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role lies within the UK Growth Structure- made up from Categories – Marketing and Commercial- Brand Comms & Media- but will be working closely with our Sales organization too.

You’ll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders- and external relationships with our trade partners and agencies whilst unlocking and executing major initiatives in store to help grow our business.

In brief- you will be responsible for;

  • All ‘lower funnel’ activation within retail media estate
  • Driving ROI close to point of purchase through:
    • In store executions (shopper)
    • Activity on retailer websites (working with ecommerce)
    • Targeted activity using retail media offsite (working with media team)
    • Near store activity (e.g. billboards at store front and in magazines)

  • Responsible for budget across these retail media touchpoints where we get best ROI
  • Own the launch of innovation platforms in store to drive trial and penetration
  • Own the activity selling process to our top retailers as well as identify retail events opportunities for our brands
  • Partner and negotiate with the retailer agencies to unlock the strongest execution possible
  • Manage shopper marketing agency(s) to develop best in class creative within retailer guidelines
  • Develop the rituals & routines of the shopper marketing team with the rest of the organization
  • Review performance- ROI and tracking of campaigns and apply learnings for future initiatives
  • Act as the connection between Sales- Commercial and Marketing for shopper marketing

Qualifications

Hard Skills


• Experience owning a full shopper marketing department or multiple- large customers
• Experience working with shopper marketing agencies & retailers
• Proven delivery of shopper marketing plans across core business and innovation
• Good analytical and commercial skills

Professional Attributes

Communication Skills and Collaboration
• At Kraft Heinz you’ll easily be exposed to senior management- no matter your level. Therefore- it’s important you have excellent communication skills- with the ability to simplify and deal with all kinds of different stakeholders across sales- marketing and our agency partners.

• Strategic capabilities and experience in marketing and sales strategy development- situational and trend analysis. Work with marketing team to amplify and apply core creative ideas in to in store and online environment


Project management skills and ability to simplify
• You’re organized- structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables. You know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe and to work well and manage cross functional teams. You are able to make choices and select what not to do.
