Sr Specialist, Internal Communications (Operations) at a glance...

The Sr Specialist will support the development and execution of the North America (NA) Supply Chain Operations (SCO) employee communications plan. This involves the planning, content creation and completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual communications initiatives, supporting a population of 6,700 salaried and 15,500 hourly employees in North America.

What's on the menu?

  • Support the NA SCO organization through strategic communications and tell stories about the incredible teammates who make our food and beverages.
  • Support NA SCO Town Hall events (plan, content, meeting logistics), crafting written / video content for use in internal and social media channels, management of internal channels such as intranet / app, and translation management as needed.
  • Own NA Operations Intranet site, including sourcing material, creating templates, and promoting resources
  • Work with plants and support departments on digital signage design and deployment
  • Develop a strategy and support materials for plant visits and “big moment” events
  • Ensure consistent tone and messaging across all NA SCO communications, underscoring key themes and priorities
  • Write, design, collect content and produce biweekly SCO newsletter
  • Work with a variety of cross-functional team members to deliver timely, well-crafted, and clear content that encourages, engages, and activates NA SCO team members. This role will distill sophisticated ideas into simple, but intellectually credible, arguments.
  • Drive NA SCO communications around KHC Dream, 10-Year Strategy, Purpose, Vision and Values, and tell stories about how SCO employees contribute to the Company’s growth.
  • Handle crisis communications as needed

  • I have experience working in a communications function with experience handling internal, corporate communications, issues management and engagement, ideally in a fast-paced global commercial organization or in a client-facing role.
  • I have strong written and verbal skills, with a strong command of the English language and the ability to simplify complicated messages.
  • I am able to travel to plant facilities as necessary.
  • I have success in leading multiple projects with outstanding interpersonal and planning skills in a dynamic business environment.
  • I am skilled in dealing with critical, complex, and confidential issues and situations, and adapting messages for different audiences.
  • I have the ability to maintain a steadfast work pace and change course quickly.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment

We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness. We also believe providing a more flexible and agile model is essential in today’s workplace. A majority of our office-based employees will be able to work remotely for up to two days each week.
