Base Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $104,200.00

Target Total Cash Range: $104,250.00 - $130,250.00

Target Total Cash: Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

Description & Requirements

The mission of the Category Business Development team is to win at shelf through empowering retailers & Kraft Heinz with insights. The Customer Business Development Manager distills insights from a variety of data sources to develop business plans that drive category and Kraft Heinz volume.   

The Category Business Development Senior Analyst will support a specific Business Unit in the CBD team supporting all projects and cross functional connections. The Category Business Senior Analyst works closely with CBD Platform & BU Leads to develop best in class insights for shelf & navigational design and arms the customer teams with impactful category knowledge and priorities. The Customer Business Senior Analyst proactively identifies opportunities and addresses both Kraft’s and the customer’s needs. This can include partnering with the Business Unit to conduct of research (primary and secondary)- data analysis- insights- reporting and presentation.  A successful Category Business Analyst will be a data driven- creative seeking individual looking to support multiple projects and functions across the team.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Support translation of national space & assortment guidelines by category to customer specific plans
  • Connect with Business Unit in the development of insight-based category focused presentations with the opportunity to present findings directly to customer decision makers.
  • Integrates data from a variety of sources to develop impactful customer-specific selling stories in support of key category business building initiatives.
  • Acts as the liaison for business unit and field category leadership team in regards to shelving and assortment  
  • Supports develops best in class insights for shopper aids & navigational design
  • Arm customer teams with impactful category knowledge and priorities
  • Monitor performance of the category to grow sales- anticipate threats- and build defense
  • Develops and integrates consumer- shopper and retailer insights to better inform targeted strategies- plans and decisions 
  • Leverage insight resources to prioritize consumer and shopper needs and opportunities 
  • Leads broader space research across aisle and store after gaining strategic alignment from the Business Unit
  • Act as the category shelving expert and present at external customer reset meetings

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
