Description & Requirements

Position Summary

Marketing is at the core of our world and at the heart of where we make our decisions. Marketers know the consumer. They ask questions. Find answers. They take the extra step to work towards a vision for future success. As a Sr Brand Manager- you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.

Sr Brand Managers are leaders in our business. In this role- you will develop iconic brands like HEINZ and A.1. in the away-from-home sphere (ex. restaurants- stadiums- amusement parks- universities- etc.). This position is responsible for ensuring that consumers see our brands consistently across channels. You will be leading B2B and B2C comms executions and driving a platform innovation strategy.

We are looking for someone who is hard-working- creative- and collaborative. This position will be working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve agreed upon deadlines.

Key Components of the Role

Communications

  • Own B2B media strategy and execution for the away-from-home business
  • Develop and implement B2C communications plan that delivers against away-from-home goals
  • Deliver comms-driven partnership ideas that help win new business
  • Collaborate extensively with brand platform teams and away-from-home customer marketing- taking on the role of leader in both directions
  • Own relationships with agency and media vertical partners
  • Drive discussions during management presentations with platform GM- and business unit President

Innovation & Strategy

  • Implement a five-year growth plan that provides strategic innovation direction
  • Champion relationships with Marketing- Consumer Insights- R&D- Finance- and Project Management to lead commercialization of new products
  • Use business analytics (equity- share- volume and revenue drivers- competition) to tell stories and drive business objectives

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company or experience supporting on the agency side (advertising- consulting- media)
  • Bachelor’s degree required- MBA preferred
  • Operates with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced leadership and drive for results
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development
  • Experience in cross-functional team management
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
  • Experience with marketing campaign development
