Job Purpose

Sr. Analyst, Indirect Procurement IT will be responsible for implementing strategic plans and tactical sourcing activities for Procurement technology categories across IT services, software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and Digital with spend exceeding $750 million across the Kraft Heinz Company global enterprise and 1,000+ suppliers.  This role will drive balanced strategies that actively seek to reduce and/or control costs for IT and Digital functions while growing efficiencies for the business.  This position will work closely with partners in IT and various Corporate functions to source innovative new products and services that meet business objectives.  The successful candidate will focus on balancing superior service to internal senior business clients and collaborate with all regions globally to increase the value of products and services purchased. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Key competency expectations for the role are the ability to deeply understand and apply procurement processes, tools, and systems, implement & supervise lifecycle management process, and be a tried expert in sourcing, vendor management, development & execution; must achieve tangible results in competitive and non-competitive supplier negotiations both directly and as a coach to others.

  • Collaborate with internal clients and supplier relationships on an ongoing basis to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Run a wide portfolio of critical deals for Kraft Heinz, working in partnership with US and International zones (INTL includes LATAM, EMEA, APAC and ANZ Business Units)

  • Establish and deliver performance goals for the IT and Digital category

  • Lead strategic sourcing projects for supplier selection/optimization to implement category vision and strategies

  • Handle supplier relationships and segmentation

  • Support major supplier issues and work with partners to identify and drive resolutions

  • Develop financial reports using data, insights and business requirements

  • Identify and evaluate potential value generating projects based on complexity, resources, risk, time to implement, and estimated financial impact

  • Handle prioritized portfolio of projects for the category in the near and long term

  • Lead the supplier selection and RFx award process

  • Complete various complexity contracts in accordance with policies and processes; ability to apply competency across categories

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity within a multi-cultural environment

  • Manage short term tactical tasks while building a long term strategy

  • Manage Total Cost of Ownership at the category level through collaboration with finance

  • Partner with internal and third party administrator team resources

  • Experience dealing with Deloitte, Microsoft, SAP, DXC Technology, IBM, Infosys is a plus

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement, mainly IT focus; experience in IT a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; Presentation and negotiation skills are required.  

  • Translates strategy into actionable objectives that aligns function with organizational goals and generates results that will have a positive impact on the function/business unit.

  • Strong negotiating skills; ability to multi-task, attention to detail, organized; exemplary customer service skills; judgment to handle confidential information and challenging business situations; project management, problem solving, leadership and team building skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Digital Six Sigma certification and/or Sourcing certifications a plus

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
