Kraft Heinz is on a journey of transformation and part of this plan is to move our Global HQs back into city centers. It is time for Toronto to shine with a Canadian innovation and talent hub that reflects our unique people & food culture. After 40 years at the Don Mills location- the Kraft Heinz Canada headquarters will move to the Queen’s Quay Terminal (QQT) at 207 Queen’s Quay West. Roles currently based out of the Don Mills office will move to Queen’s Quay upon its opening in Spring-Summer 2023. We are thrilled to be moving to this vibrant- waterfront location in close proximity to public transportation. Sr. Customer Sales Manager

As a Sr. Customer Sales Manager- you are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and profit targets. You have the talent- drive and understanding of the retail sales environment to generate sales volumes. Your ability to discover and capitalize on account opportunities is unparalleled.  And as a member of one of the strongest sales forces in Canada- you will form the crucial link between Kraft Heinz and the customer- dedicating your results-oriented mindset to the type of proactive- business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our success at Kraft Heinz Canada.

Through the development of a collaborative relationship with customers- the Sr. Customer Sales Manager is the key link between Kraft Heinz and customer on all business development opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverages strong analytical- technical and syndicated data expertise to successfully execute the category management process- securing customer co-operation to mutually beneficial category response plans.

  • Clearly understands customer needs and strives to deliver revenue- share- and contribution growth through the use of knowledge-based solutions.

  • Pro-actively identifies and implements business-building initiatives that contribute towards the achievement of superior business results for Kraft Heinz/customer.

  • Identifies and implements new and unique ideas and opportunities that influence the consumer to buy

  • Successfully manages trade spending and forecasting within category responsibilities

  • Plays a leadership role within Sales Customer Business Teams through management of special projects- mentoring and coaching of junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree is required- preferably in Business

  • Progressive experience of at least 5 years in Sales- which should include Account Management Experience with sales where fact-based selling and category reviews are leveraged

  • Experience using sales reporting systems and AC Nielson systems

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Understanding of financials including trade spending and profit and loss statements

  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with customer
