About the Position


For future purposes- we are looking to connect with experienced Key Account Managers focusing on Retail channels- to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position is part of the Benelux Business Unit- and is passionate about managing one of our retail customers accounts the Netherlands. Supporting Business and profitable growth will be your primary responsibility.


Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and build positive relationships and grow sales of customer accounts.
  • Initiate commercial relationships with targeted new prospects and deliver excellent sales fundamentals performance.
  • Develop the Annual Operating Plan (annual agreements- pricing- new products & innovation listings- and campaign developments) and implement it for the assigned customer account.
  • Grow the business for your own customer/category combination
     

Key Outputs

  • Build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
  • Identify opportunities through your analytical skills e.g. Nielsen/IRI of GFK
  • Refer sales opportunities and customer feedback- to internal organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met
  • Establish annual- quarterly- monthly- or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met

Qualifications
 

Must haves

  • At least a completed Bachelor degree on university level
  • Circa 4-7 years of experience in a commercial role in a fast-paced FMCG environment- dealing with retail customers. Having a strong understanding of the Food and Drinks industry and retail negotiation cycles is essential in this role.
  • Data-driven and analytical approach
  • Strong proficiency in both Dutch and English is a must

  • Communication Skills - People are easily be exposed to senior management- no matter their level. Therefore- it’s important to have excellent interpersonal skills- to take care of all kinds of different collaborators.
  • Ability to Simplify - We like to keep it simple. And to implement fast. Your simplification skills will be highly appreciated- when providing simple solutions dealing with sophisticated challenges.
  • Commercial Sense - Always seeking for opportunities to expand your business and build more savings- while over delivering your targets.
  • Empathy – listening to the customer - You’re known for your emotional intelligence. You listen more and talk less- and therefore truly understand your customer. With that demeanor you build commercial chances to optimize the customer experience.
