Description & Requirements

Reporting into the Head of Consumer Insights- the Sr. Manager – Consumer Insights & Special Projects is a key business partner of the Kraft Heinz Brand Building team- responsible for driving the development of innovation- marketing strategies and brand results.  This individual will provide marketing research and consumer insight partnership to influence Brand strategy and business decisions.

In addition- this role may support other special projects as per business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Research:  Working closely with key stakeholders- identify learning gaps; design and execute research and distill insights to drive action and support strategic initiatives (ie. Brand Positioning- Innovation Pipeline Development & Validation- Brand Foundations & comms; Product Quality initiatives).
  • Accelerate Innovation & Renovation:  cross functional collaboration to identify- develop- size and validate a multi-year pipeline of innovation and renovation for 2023+
  • De-average the consumer: Help build brands that consumers love as a strategic partner in the communication process by inputting into the marketing brief and leading research and recommendations to drive equity and growth.
  • Leverage new agile tools and methodologies to drive speed to insight and ultimately- speed to market with need- based solutions.
  • Other special projects as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; specialization in Social Science- Business Administration- or Marketing is preferred
  • 8+ Years of Market Research/Insights experience is required; mix of client and agency side preferred
  • Strong functional & technical expertise in quantitative and qualitative research & analytics techniques
  • Experience across a broad range of market research techniques and analytical techniques such as: product testing- concept testing- data mining- questionnaire development for Usage & Attitude- Nielsen syndicated tools (MarketTrack- Homescan Panel);
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive for results
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with agile research tools- methodologies- and applications
  • Proven ability to source- work with and combine disparate data sets to find patterns- extract insights and answer business questions
  • Understanding of marketing processes- business planning- marketing strategy
  • A storyteller- with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Solutions oriented; Outside the box thinking
  • Confidence to adapt to and manage changing priorities
  • Skilled in the application of research design and appropriate methodologies;
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources- tell a clear story- and influence key stakeholders
  • Thrives in an ownership environment working autonomously- with passion and enthusiasm;
  • Strong project management skills- and ability to influence teams to keep in track/ability to be agile and put a solution in place in changing environment
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and curiosity.
  • Confidence to adapt to and manage changing priorities
  • Expert computer literacy- advanced MS Excel and Power Point skills.​
