POSITION:                   Sr. Manager- IT App Support - Workday

DUTIES:                       Responsible for protecting- maintaining- and extending the Workday Global Template solution to ensure maximum availability of the service and stability of the integrations to other applications. Specific duties include: (i) technical Workday configuration to enable effective challenge to requests received- recommendation of best practice- effective challenge and audit of support team configuration- and optimal use of existing Workday template; (ii) Workday Configuration execution either directly or through application support team- including Audits- challenges- and providing feedback on configuration completed by the support team- as well as collaboration with the application and infrastructure design groups to provide solution design leadership as needed; (iii) ensure all incidents- requests- problem tickets impacting the Workday solution (HCM- Travel and Expense- Recruiting- Talent- Absence) and the associated integrations are resolved effectively and efficiently by the Support team through close management and communication within the business process areas; (iv) Review and coordinate change request backlog prioritization with key business stakeholders and work with support team to define monthly change request prioritization list and ensure adherence to deployment dates; (v) lead regression testing for Workday Releases and identify impacted areas that require testing and co-ordinate with support team- testing teams to complete the testing; (vi) maintain technical knowledge by staying up to date on new functionality introduced through Workday Releases- deploy and test changes via Workday Releases- and provide guidance and adoption recommendations to the business stakeholders; (vii) participate in transition of Workday related projects to support prior to project closure and update required knowledge articles- documentation; (viii) manage third party vendor teams- working with geographically distributed teams and business stakeholders with effective communication; AND (ix) support the standardization- development- regionalization- and continuous improvement of global template and full and complete integration between all other process areas.

REQUIREMENTS:           Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science- Engineering- or a directly related field- and at least seven (7) years of experience in a same or closely related role. Must have the following experience: At least 5 years of experience in supporting Workday HCM (including Recruiting- Talent- Absence) and Travel & Expense areas in a production environment; At least 5 years of experience in Configuring/maintaining Workday integrations (outbound and inbound)- Workday business processes- Alerts- Workday security- and reporting- including knowledge of AD- Identity- Payroll- Credit card integrations; Some experience in Performing Gap analysis and root cause analysis and streamlining Business process workflows and defining optimum solutions; At least 3 years of experience in Handling Workday releases and performing impact analysis- and reviewing and implementing new Workday functionalities and improvements;  At least 5 years of experience in Handling Incident Ticket management- problem ticket management- and change requests in ITSM tools like Service Now; At least 3 years of experience in Planning and prioritizing change requests by coordinating with business stakeholders and support team members; At least 3 years of experience in Handling knowledge transition from Project teams- maintaining project documentation and knowledge articles; AND At least 5 years of experience in Working with geographically distributed teams and third-party teams.
