Description & Requirements

The Senior Manager- Omni Shopper Marketing is an integral part of the Shopper Marketing team within the North American Growth Office. This individual supports area Leadership- owns the management of the marketing budget- spearheads strategic annual planning of key drive periods at retail and acts as the main contact and trusted adviser to internal and external partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide Shopper Marketing leadership and key point of contact to Customer(s)
  • Own budget management/reporting and ongoing process improvement for Customer(s)
  • Steer strategic annual planning of key marketing activations and strategy in-store
  • Provide best-in-class council to the Customer(s) sought at better demonstrating national brand plans- preferred suppliers- and the U.S. Sales Game Plan
  • Partner with BU and Central Marketing Teams to identify and develop shopper programs that align with both customer objectives as well as internal sales and brand team goals
  • Build compelling selling tools to aid the field with securing retailer support of key promotions
  • Establish new routines and rituals to improve communication and knowledge sharing between the field- BU- and leadership
  • Own relationship with TKH creative agency and P57 media agency teams for the Customer(s)
  • Re-application of traditional brand management principles to in-store environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven industry experience in consumer packaged goods- or similar experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong sales- marketing- category planning and/or analytical background
  • Media experience with any Retailer Media Networks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills- including reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Savvy with business intelligence tools/software (ex. IRI- Tableau- and Budget Management)
  • Ability to effectively summarize sophisticated information upwards and influence sales leadership to drive appropriate action
  • Strong at forging internal/external relationships and commanding trust/respect of others
  • Proven track record to coordinate a strategic vision and a team of individuals in a fast-paced- results driven environment
  • Kroger-relevant experience (84.51- Market 6)

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
