Senior Marketing Associate

Job Description

  • The Senior Marketing Associate leads brand programs or projects for Philadelphia & Singles supporting the Canada and North America Coffee (CANAC) BU and assists in the strategy- development- and execution of marketing/brand build plans. In addition- you will support the brands with insights and analysis to drive future growth and inform strategic direction and business opportunity.

Key Components of the Role

  • Participate in the development of short- and long-term business and marketing plans for assigned products/brands.

  • Analyze business performance- identify actions needed- and coordinate action plan on key metrics (market share- volume and revenue trends and drivers- driven performance).

  • Support and coordinate commercialization and development of brand/product innovation

  • Lead omni shopper marketing program strategy- development and execution

  • Manage and lead advertising and promotional budgets- while ensuring ROI on spend

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business- Marketing- or related field

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in marketing

  • Excellent interpersonal skills- self-starter and ability to multitask and balance competing priorities

  • Consumer obsessed with the ability to identify market trends and key insights

  • Operates independently and motivated by success

  • Strong leadership and committed to results

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication- influence and relationship building skills in a cross-functional team environment (R&D- Finance- Sales- Operations- etc)

  • AC Nielsen experience an asset

  • Previous CPG experience preferred

Location(s)

  • This role supports the Canada business unit but is flexible to work out of the Chicago/Aon Center office or Toronto Office

  • This role is hybrid - a combination of in the office and at home
