Base Salary Range: $121,300.00 - $151,600.00

Target Total Cash Range: $163,755.00 - $204,660.00

Target Total Cash: *Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.

Description & Requirements

What you’ll do

The Staff User Experience Designer is a critical partner in driving the growth and expansion of the UX practice at Kraft Heinz. You are responsible for helping to create a world-class digital ecosystem- as we transform the ways that team members from across the org access their data- insights- analytics and reports. You partner with teams to lead- define and conduct research- user interviews- usability tests- ideation workshops- wireframing and prototyping.

You will work closely with the Head of Design to develop- advise and evangelize process and design ops across project types while injecting a human-centered approach into every conversation. This role begins as an individual contributor with significant growth opportunities either through personnel management or IC track.

You will:

  • Inject design into the product development lifecycle through each stage: ideation- concepting- feasibility- development- deployment- QA- analysis.
  • Lead formal usability testing sessions (on-site and remote).
  • Conduct user research by using and/or creating personas- behavioral archetypes- site maps- user flows- user interviews- card sorting- hero journeys- competitive audits and market research.
  • Assume a research-based approach when building out wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for review- stakeholder signoff and handoff to engineering.
  • Demonstrate excellence in presenting designs and defending solutions with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions- IA/sitemap development.
  • Apply user-centered design- behavioral pattern development and human factors standards as the lens through which all projects are approached and solutions presented.
  • Demonstrate a deep industry knowledge of web and mobile design standards to inform decision-making and elevation of the broader team- methodically defining our standards for the design practice at Kraft Heinz.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience working in UX/UI design roles and evangelizing Design Thinking across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • A critical- confident and clear voice for UX and design-centered thinking within Kraft Heinz.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Capable of verbally defending and compromising on design solutions- embracing an agile- iterative approach to excellence when necessary.
  • Demonstrate the skills to empathize with users.
  • Able to apply a keen business sense in understanding the balance between perfection and deployment obligations.
  • Ability to solution across devices- frameworks- platforms- responsive states etc.
  • Expertise working within and contributing to design systems that consistently scale across platforms.
  • Deep understanding of BI/Analytics- data visualization design and report modeling.
  • Figma- Adobe Creative Suite- Tableau- PowerBI- React- Microstrategy.
