Description & Requirements

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Driver to work in our warehouse department in Holland, MI.  Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to complete an eye exam onsite and written test to be considered for this role.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must be available to work the weekends and some holidays
  • Forklift certificate required
  • Must qualify for and maintain Forklift License, both medically and with a safe driving record
  • Must be able to use SAP to log/track inventory movements
  • Must be able to read/write in English
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs

Shift Premiums (applied once converted)

Monday-Friday, some Saturdays                               2:00pm-10:30pm

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities- assigned based on business needs and seniority
  • Union Plant, represented by UFCW Local 705
  • Products: Vinegar, BBQ Sauces, Relish, Pickles, Mustard
  • The Holland plant is one of the oldest plants in the company and has been operating since 1897. Although, locally known as the “pickle factory”, currently pickles only make up 5% of the total production. In 2016 the factory installed grey poupon mills to allow the production of its iconic mustard.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for unloading raw materials from trucks, supplying production departments with materials and ingredients as required via lift truck, removing finished goods from production areas, placing raw materials and finished goods in proper storage areas, and loading finished goods on trucks.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.
  • Support Plant Quality Systems.
  • Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
