About the Position


We have an opportunity for a driven Trade Category Manager. The role is positioned in Amsterdam- working in the Benelux Business Unit with a team full of performance driven peers. The TCM reports directly to the Commercial Category Lead and is in close contact with the senior stakeholders in the Business Unit. The TCM has the responsibility to set out and implement the efficient category management strategy of your product category. This includes drafting commercial strategies- identifying brand & category opportunities and regular sparring sessions with the marketing- sales- finance- procurement and other commercial teams.


In brief- you take ownership of;

  • The definition of the Retailer strategy and Channel strategy including price/pack format differentiation.
  • The Business Growth of the Kraft Heinz Company for the assigned category (Sauces);
  • Own relationship with account managers and be the main point of reference in the implementation of the commercial strategy.
  • Work with sales on bottom-up planning from customer segmentation and customer surgeries.
  • Working closely with Marketing and CDM- build the commercial plan for NPD – assumptions on cost price- margin and distribution targets by customer and channel and engage the sales in executional delivery of the plan;
  • Work closely with sales- finance and supply to build accurate forecast by month- quarter and year considering the sellout- sell in and stocks in the market.


Qualifications


Hard Skills

  • Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
  • Minimal bachelor’s degree (preferably in Economics of Finance)
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in consulting- business analyses- sales- marketing- category- trade marketing and similar roles.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry is a plus- but not a necessity
