About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a finance professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Finance Manager position lies within the UK Finance function. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be responsible for UK key accounts including Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and Ocado, reporting into the Trade Investment Lead, working closely with Sales and Sales Finance. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be working closely within the Sales Team to ensure every penny of our Promo Investments and Commercial agreements is accounted for in the forecast & reconciled in the actuals alongside with support of collection process influencing on company cash flow. You’re constantly looking for improvement activities to understand and control our Commercial Balance Sheet for a large set of customers.


In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Great team including 3 direct reports in London and 4 supporting analysts in India
  • Ownership for the customer balance sheet & ensuring control over customer P&Ls
  • Control month end process to ensure P&L & accruals are correct at the end of each period
  • Ensure items on the balance sheet are processed efficiently by streamlining processes, while support your analysts & GBS resource when issues arise
  • Ensure we keep working capital under control and support healthy account receivables balance
  • Ensure processes are being adhered to and are driving the right mix between control and efficiency
  • Both Internal and external audits

Qualifications
Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of prior experience in a Finance control/Accounting (AR)/Commercial finance role
  • Deep understanding of Balance sheet, Account receivables and prior experience of assessment Commercial agreements with Retailers
  • A good level of IT literacy is essential, strong MS Excel skills (you’ll work with lots of data and help to improve existing tools)

Ideally

  • SAP knowledge would be advantageous
  • A Bachelor’s University degree qualification
