Value Creation Lead- International

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced R&D professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz in the position of Value Creation Lead. The position lies within the International R&D team and is responsible for the development of value creation strategies that drive value-in and cost-out for our product portfolios across the International Zone.

A priority in this role is to build partnerships between the R&D- Procurement- Commercial and Supply Chain teams- and external partners of choice to deliver value to the business and deliver against objectives. This involves an integrated and proactive approach across Regions/Business Units- and strong collaboration across all levels of the organisation.

We are looking for a strategic problem solver who can create an integrated program- driving value creation across the full chain from field to plate. You will lead International “Big Bet” projects in partnership with Zone Marketing & Procurement Teams- opening new opportunities for value creation in the company. You’ll be part of a hard-working team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior customers!

Key Components of the role:

  • Close collaboration with internal partners (International Leadership- Procurement- R&D- Supply Chain- Finance) as well as the External Suppliers research to deliver productivity and effectiveness across the total international product portfolio.

  • Identify and lead strategic international projects and initiatives to simplify and create harmonization across the Business

  • Development and implementation of longer-term strategic plans to achieve competitive advantage through optimising purchase cost and value improvements consistent with the direction set by the business

  • Leading both in-year financial delivery but most importantly creating and managing a longer-term strategic plan encompassing Technological platforms- bringing tech solutions to life

  • Delivering through others – managing and leading a network of value creation teams across all markets via dotted-line reports

  • Representation of the value creation agenda / content at relevant leadership forums
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field

  • 6+ years proven track-record of R&D / supply chain leadership

  • Strong eye for business

  • Experience managing commercial and procurement related agreements

  • Strong experience working across multiple regions and international markets is preferred

  • Ability to navigate at ease through complex- multicultural- diverse environments

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills & simplifying the complex / strong ability to present in a sharp and simple way to senior executives

  • Organized and able to handle several projects concurrently
