This position is responsible for End-to-End Quality Assurance Program from External Manufacturer (EM) governance and continuous quality improvement to consumer / customer complaint handling and CAPA management with leading and developing team. And this position is also responsible for all new product development and value engineering projects’ support by Quality Assurance standpoint.
This is a key position as Quality Assurance Head in Kraft Heinz NEA organization.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for End-to-End Quality Assurance Program from External Manufacturer (EM) governance and continuous quality improvement to consumer / customer complaint handling and CAPA management with leading and developing team.
- Design End-to-End Quality Assurance Program in Japan along with Kraft Heinz global EM requirements, GFSI certified FSQ (Food Safety and Quality) system requirements, and local regulation by risk-based approach.
- Prioritize and plan step changes to improve quality management system in Japan to prevent serious quality incidents and lower finished goods non-conformity%.
- Communication and collaboration with internal and external manufacturing sites.
- Support new product development projects and value engineering projects by Quality Assurance standpoint.
- FSQ incident management and final recommendation as Japan QA representative.
- Team capability development as professional quality assurance person. (e.g. couching FSQ auditing methodology, FSQ validation method for innovation)
- Resource (FTE) allocation in team, assign projects/tasks based on development plan.
- Help Korea innovation and Quality Assurance Program to support business growth.
- Create highly engaged teams including creation of diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Support technical director to develop long-term talent plan.
- Provide coaching, discuss development plan, and provide support to direct reports.
- Enhance collaboration with other functions in technical team (PD, RC, Customer Service).
- Collaborate with SCM team to improve quality incident handling process.
- Collaborate with global FSQ team, sourcing internal factory, and internal key stakeholders.
- Develop EM and Supplier’s FSQ capability by enhancing collaborating culture.
JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in science (Master’s degree in related science field is preferred)
Knowledge/Skills:
- At least 8 years proven experience in technical field in Food & Beverage business.
- At least 5 years proven experience in Quality Assurance field.
- Product Development and Scientific Regulatory Affair experience is preferred to have.
- Must have work experience in global Food & Beverage company’s quality & Food safety management system.
- Must have deep understanding of GFSI certified FSQ management systems.
- Strong stakeholder and conflict management skill internally and externally.
- Risk based approach thinking and strong business acumen.
- Fluent in Japanese and business level in English required.
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent business presentation skills
- Mindset possible to enjoy complex and ambiguous situations.
- Quick to learn new things and adapt to new situations. (high learning agility)
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office is assumed.
