About the position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Food Safety & Quality Senior Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Food Safety & Quality Senior Manager lies within the EPDM Western Europe Operations BU. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into Gerard van de Schepop, Director FSQ Europe.

In brief, you are responsible to:
- Assure the full adherence with company compliance policies and legal standards for food safety and food quality of the site. Support implementation of new standards and continuous quality improvement plans. Develop, improve and review the effectiveness of quality assurance system. Lead the quality process and product improvements including supporting R&D and procurement for new projects implementation.
- Performance, technical ability and certification of the ISO 17025 certified Central laboratory
Responsibilities & accountabilities
- Ensure good manufacturing practices are implemented and adhered to and adequate controls are in place to prevent a serious incident, withdrawal or recall;
- Responsible for quality system, quality control and lab micro activities;
- Responsible for the relationship with food safety local or national authority, food safety corporate affairs and certification bodies;
- Guarantee all traceability data from raw material to finished product;
- Provide for the implementation of quality system requirements;
- Participate on daily meeting and cross functional meeting;
- Promote the improvement of quality system through lean tools (PDCA);
- Management of risk assessment for new product line and new finished product;
- Implement, maintain, and evaluate cleaning & sanitation operating procedures and training that meets Kraft Heinz requirements;
- Manage the budget of quality package and the central laboratory.
- Manage the claims (not conformity) through corrective and preventive action;
- Promote root cause analysis to solve issue;
- Ensure the release of the product according the lead time;
- Support Engineering and R&D in development projects;
- Relationships with suppliers of raw material and packaging material;
- Responsible for supply chain quality losses reduction;
- Monthly meeting with EPDM site FSQ team.
Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

Background:
- Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Engineering master's degree;
- More than 5 years of relevant experience
