We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced R&D Productivity Manager Packaging, Emerging & Developed Markets (E&DM), to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role reports into the Head of R&D Productivity, as part of the Processing, Productivity & Innovation (PPI) R&D team and will work in close collaboration with the R&D Packaging team. Get ready for a lot of exposure to external & internal senior stakeholders. This role will also involve identification and scaling of Packaging technical solutions to enable the productivity packaging pipeline in line with the business direction. You’re constantly looking for cost saving opportunities.
In brief, you will be part of the E&DM R&D Processing, Productivity & Innovation (PPI) Team, taking a role as E&DM R&D Productivity Manager in Nijmegen.
Key Ingredients:
- Driving cost saving initiatives, identification & Rating of VE Ideas, and actively bring these initiatives into execution.
- Fuel & ignite Productivity Packaging opportunities at a global level, fully connected with the main stakeholders and the initiatives in the zones.
- Delivering through others; leading a network of Productivity teams across all markets via dotted-line reports.
- Build and maintain network to drive collaboration with Internal (global Leadership, Procurement, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) and External Partners, to deliver productivity and effectiveness across the total Global product portfolio.
- Identify new opportunities by exploring and benchmarking the packaging portfolio in the different zones and by learning and sharing best practices to roll out.
- Scale technical solutions to enable the Packaging Productivity & Innovation pipeline in line with the business.
- Drive pre-feasibility assessment (opportunity, risk, first business case) and align with R&D Packaging teams on design principles and hand-over.
- Provide Technical Support to the R&D Packaging local teams, if needed, to deliver packaging productivity.
- Democratize access to global/local ideation outputs and best practices.
- Facilitate connection of enabled technologies to the zone productivity pipelines.
Recipe for Success: Apply if it sounds like you
- Education: Master Degree or equivalent experience (Food) Technology or Business.
- Work Experience: 5+ years in Packaging Development, Value Engineering or Productivity Management.
- Functional understanding on Productivity, Value Creation, Value Engineering, Design to Value and Champions programs.
- Functional understanding of Business Case construction, understanding of Financial project leavers and financial business needs.
- Foundational science, on Packaging functionality and its interaction with Products/Process.
- Language Knowledge: Fluent in English
