About the Role
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to implement changes in operation BOM, update the standard for NPD and new material, execute the yearly standard cost roll-up, and conduct thorough analysis. The ideal candidate will manage the process of cost changes and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Std cost set up/ implement changes in cost structures as required.
- Manage Affiliate Cost & Price
- Perform cost reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
- Conduct detailed analysis of cost data and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure all cost changes are accurately reflected in the financial systems.
- Manage the entire process of standard cost roll-up at budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for cost adjustments.
- Monitor and verify the integrity of cost data in the system.
- Prepare and present reports on cost changes and their impact on overall financial performance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of cost accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to cost data.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ad hoc analysis and request from SCFM or global reporting.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience
- Proven experience in cost accounting, finance, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Power BI (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cost accounting experience is preferable but not essential.
