About the Role
Job Description
This position will be key to the success of The Kroger Co. Supply Chain team by providing the analytics and project management support to drive continuous improvement in service (on time and in full metrics), cost, and forecasting and inventory management metrics. The metrics apply to both KHC and The Kroger Co. The position will provide the right candidate customer supply chain experience supporting KHC 2nd largest customer along with gaining experience working across KHC’s supply chain functions (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, supply, and customer service) and Sales. The position is a customer facing position and will be working directly with key contacts from The Kroger Co. Supply Chain organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement across The Kroger Co. Supply Chain Teams
- Analytics and technical support to leverage latest technologies (Excel, Excel VBA, Access, Power BI, SAP, and Network Automation) to develop solutions to streamline work across the organization
- Work alongside their Manager to develop routines/rituals, reports, etc. to maximize results that include (fill rates, in stocks, cost reduction, forecast improvement, ORAD and case fill etc.)
- Support best practices and accountability across the customer and sales teams that will include daily, weekly and monthly direct connectivity w/ KHC’s supply chain performance and execution team.
Project Management
- Drive discipline driving actions by identifying, documenting, and communicating the actions while also seeking closure on said actions with project team members.
- Leverage analytic and technical skills to drive insights for driving improvement.
- Develop decks that “tell the story” to stakeholders gain support on driving improvement.
Analytics Support
- “Go to” person for data, analytics and process requests with your core team
- Key in providing technical training to team members
Qualifications
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in operations or supply chain management or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, forecasting or supply/operations planning
- Process Management/Improvement mindset required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to learn on the fly
- Strong communication (oral, written, presentation)
- Ability to solve problems
- Desire to be technical using analytic tools

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$72,400.00 – $90,500.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
