5pm to 5am Shift
3-4 day schedule rotation
Summary Statement:
The Class D Intake position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the milk and cream Intake area. This position requires the loading and unloading of trucks and tankers and the completion of the sanitation requirements of the job. This position is responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner with a close attention to detail when it comes to product quality. This position must support all business systems (such as QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s) while working in a team environment. This position may be assigned either an 8 hour shift five days a week or a 12 hour shift on a rotating basis to cover business needs. This position may be required to work some holidays and weekends.
Primary Role and Responsibilities
- Load and unload bulk trucks and tankers
- Supply necessary ingredients to 4th floor Processing
- Complete documentation properly such as weight slips and bills of lading
- Perform required tests associated with raw materials
- Responsible for monitoring and communicating immediately any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, Utility
- Responsible for sanitation duties for the Intake area as needed and period sanitation work as assigned
- Proper handling and usage of chemicals
- Perform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation process
- Responsible for conducting and documenting all quality checks as defined to meet Kraft Beaver Dam policies and procedures
- Responsible for the Ultra-filtration system including filter changing, operation, sanitation, and period work
- Responsible for CIP Non-fat dry milk process on the 2nd floor
- Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment
- Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues within the intake area and be able to make timely decisions to solve problems
- Monitor the security cameras as needed to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam policies and procedures
- Perform all observations and trainings timely and as scheduled
- Support Plant Quality Systems
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager or Utility Intake Employee
- Must pass and obtain the State of Wisconsin Bulk Milk Weigher Sampling License
- Must pass and obtain State of Wisconsin Milk, Food and Water Analyst Certification
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education Level:
High School Diploma/GED
Additional Education/Certification/Skills:
English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, and write
Remarks
- Required to perform job duties efficiently and safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds per NIOSH lifting equation and utilize plant approved safe lifting practices for over 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended hours holiday and extended workweeks to cover the business needs
- Must have computer skills with knowledge of various software programs to include: Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be adaptable to change
- Must have demonstrated decision making skills
- Must adhere to all Kraft policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft procedures
- Must be able to work in a team environment within the plant and interact professionally with external vendors (haulers/drivers)
- Must have a full understanding of the process flow of raw materials
- Must adhere to all Kraft Policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Heinz Procedures
- Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP
