National Account Manager Chains AFH 

About the Position 

We have an exciting opportunity available for an highly motivated and experienced National Key Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with some of the largest national restaurant chains! This position lies within the Italian Sales team, where you’ll be working in a successful team, always trying to reach the next level and to make a difference at Kraft Heinz! 

You’ll be reporting into the Sales Manager Away From Home, taking ownership of the Chains Channel and acting as a pivotal player in building positive relationships with the key stakeholders and growing the degree of trust and customer satisfaction. 

In brief, you will be responsible for: 

  • Leading and Growing Chains Customers across Italy (Customers mainly based in the North of the Country) maintaining, elevating and strengthen our key relationships with them and playing a key role on influencing customer satisfaction; 

  • Negotiation & Contract Closing: Lead commercial negotiations with decision-makers at restaurant chains, managing contracts and optimizing pricing and service conditions. 

  • Being proactive in finding new Prospects and New Opportunities to address  

  • Post-Sales Relationship Management: Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and proactively and maintaining a high level of service. 

  • Developing Chains channel through Marketing and Trade Marketing activities 

  • Developing the Annual Operating Plan (annual agreements, pricing, new products & innovation listings, and campaign developments) and implement it for the assigned customer accounts. 

 

Qualifications 

Hard Skills 

 

  • College Degree  

  • Previous Experience: At least 36 years of experience in Sales roles, preferably in the food & beverage sector. Experience managing restaurant chains as a National Account Manager or having held roles in Sales or Procurement within restaurant chains, will be considered a valuable asset. 

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with high-level clients. 

  • AFH Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Away from Home dynamics, procurement processes, and purchasing policies.  

  • Great Team Worker 

  • Ownership attitude, push to learn through new challenges and capability to get results and lead independently of age/role 

  • Data-driven and analytical approach 

  • High proficiency in English 

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills
