Summary

We’re looking for an ambitious Jr Art Director to join our team and play a key role in developing creative concepts, working with the wider comms, design and brand teams to bring them to life. You’ll work primarily on social media, with opportunities to stretch into traditional and in-store channels.

The Jr Art Director will report directly into the Creative Lead and work closely with cross functional ideas on developing new ideas. Our ideal candidate shares our passion for iconic brands, big ideas, and fast-moving creativity. They’ll bring a mindset around continuous improvement, collaboration and adaptability, taking on any challenge with a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work on the creative development for a range of brand briefs, ensuring they align with our brand strategy and business objectives

  • Leverage data and consumer insights to inform creative ideation

  • Present and articulate creative concepts to stakeholders

  • Staying up to date on trending and cultural topics to support creative development

  • Work closely with designers to bring to life visual concepts as final artwork

  • Brief freelance copywriters to build concepts as part of campaign launches

  • Willingness to test the boundaries and bring new thinking on the content that engages and excites our consumers

About you:

  • You have strong time management and communication skills with good attention to detail

  • Have a social media, conceptual design or copywriting background

  • Ability to tell a story and present ideas to clients

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite to develop conceptual ideas

  • Passionate about social media and trends with strong understanding of content creation best practice

  • Ability to work independently and manage internal stakeholder timelines

  • Understanding of design and production – understanding of requirements to bring concepts to life

  • 3+ years experience with agency, inhouse or strong portfolio from relevant freelance work
