About the Role
Job Description
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will mentor and develop the maintenance capability of teams by serving as a technical mentor and resource, spending time on the floor gathering information on breakdowns, defects, and work order completion over the past 24 hours. Be responsible for the results for technical training of the team, defect handling system, execution of the 52-week plan from the COE, MRO costs for the process.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible about supporting all facets of mechanical, electrical and preventative types of maintenance on various high-speed and packaging machinery.

Troubleshooting
-
Read electrical prints and perform basic wiring up to 480 volts.

Prioritize PM and AM activities with the weekly schedule.

Understands principle-centered coaching leadership and humble questioning.

Coaching and qualifying aspects of AM and PM activities with employees within the process
-
Organize and implement duties as aligned with the owner of the process.

Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low-cost, high-quality producer

Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.

Follow all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and production machines based on operations and manufacturing manuals and specifications.

Inspect facilities periodically to resolve problems and necessary maintenance.

Analyze machines’ breakdowns to identify and understand root causes.

Examine devices to test their performance.
-
Repair or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.
-
Adjust machines and devices’ parts using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

Examine used parts and apply changes in dimensional requirements.

Lubricates and cleans machine parts to sustain their effectiveness and efficiency.

Implement strict safety guidelines and company standards regarding safety, health, and environmental protection.

Participate in all new projects' execution happening at the site and NPD projects.

Contribute to achieving OEE targets and unplanned time for production lines.

Complying with all responsibilities related to occupational safety, health and environmental protection specified by the Kraft Heinz.

Actively participating in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, daily level 2 meetings.
Safety Requirements:
-
Equipment Maintenance Safety: Ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted safely, following proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensuring energy sources are effectively controlled during maintenance tasks.

Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments for maintenance activities, identifying potential hazards, and implementing appropriate control measures. This includes evaluating risks associated with electrical systems, machinery, working at heights, confined spaces, etc.

Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize the risk of equipment failures, malfunctions, and accidents. This includes regular inspections, lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn-out parts.

Equipment Safety Inspections: Conducting safety inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any safety hazards or deficiencies. This includes verifying the presence and functionality of safety guards, emergency stop buttons, interlocks, and other safety devices.

Contractor Safety Management: Ensuring that contractors working on maintenance projects adhere to safety guidelines and procedures. This includes verifying contractor qualifications, conducting safety orientations, and monitoring contractor activities for compliance with safety requirements.

Hazardous Material Management: Properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials used in maintenance activities. This includes ensuring proper storage, labeling, handling, and disposal procedures are followed in accordance with applicable regulations.

Incident Investigation: Leading or participating in investigations of maintenance-related incidents to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. This involves analyzing incidents, documenting findings, and sharing lessons learned with relevant partners.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

2-5 years of experience in FMCG

Certified in LOTO
-
Ability to manipulate data using spreadsheets
