Sanitation
Starting Wage $25.35/hr
3rd shift – 9pm to 5am
Flexible schedule
Summary Statement:
The Class C Sanitation position performs sanitation duties of production and processing equipment (2nd & 3rd floor). This position is tasked with ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner with a close attention to detail when it comes to product quality. This position must support all business systems (such as QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s, GSP’s) while working in a team environment.
Primary Role and Responsibilities
Assemble and dismantle equipment including, but not limited to valves, pipes, pumps, cook kettles, pfaudlers, agitators, augers, fillers, case packers, homogenizers, and others.
Washing and sanitizing equipment and equipment parts to ensure “safe” and excellent “quality” product.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Will read and follow detailed process instructions for sanitation programs
Accurate handling and usage of chemicals
Must follow PPE practice when handling chemicals
Performing Good Sanitation Practices when handling equipment
Perform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation process
Reporting equipment that is damaged, shows wear, or needs replacement to a Supervisor or Team Leader
Responsible for conducting and detailing quality checks as required by our policies and procedures
Perform period sanitation duties
Operate CIP systems to clean circuits, silos, blenders, separators
Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled
Be willing and able to cross-train on all sanitation responsibilities
Supports Plant Quality Systems
Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader, Supervisor, and Manager
This position reports to Sanitation Manager
Ability to lift up to 50lb
Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily job specific duties to support QRMP
Must be available for all shifts including extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional Education/Certification/Skills:
English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, and write

Must adhere to all Kraft Heinz Policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Procedures
Will need to work extended hours, additional days in a week, and flexible shifts
