Senior Communications Specialist at a glance…
The Senior Communications Specialist will be a key member of the Kraft Heinz Corporate Communications team, supporting the company’s corporate communications activity, including media relations and social media across key global and North America-based initiatives. They will work closely with the Global Corporate Communications team, as well as Global and North America Zone leadership.
The Senior Communications Specialist will be responsible for assisting with developing and executing communications strategies and activation plans around key corporate projects, partnering team members and key company stakeholders to plan and execute corporate communications initiatives. This person will also ensure that all communications and activity reflect the Company’s core values and advance Kraft Heinz’s business strategy.
What’s on the menu?

Act as a key member of the Kraft Heinz integrated storytelling team, supporting story mining and story development through the lens of the Kraft Heinz company growth strategy. This person will help communicate priority stories across a variety of different channels including, pitching and securing stories with the national media and deploying on corporate social media and internal channels.

Support the development and execution of communications strategies and activation plans to help amplify key corporate initiatives globally and across North America, including but not limited to innovation-related announcements, manufacturing operations, digital transformation, financial communications, sustainability-related advancements, and more.

Assist team with development and execution of integrated Executive Visibility plans, helping position company leadership and subject matter experts as leading industry voices externally, especially on LinkedIn.

Support project management for key Corporate Communications team projects, including timeline/workback development and ensuring project checkpoints are hit.

Help build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to drive best-in-class communications for Kraft Heinz.

Manage relevant partner/vendor relationships.

3+ years of working experience in Communications (at a consumer organization or communications agency preferred).

BA (in Communications preferred or equivalent).

Media strategy and media relations prowess.

Social media strategy, writing and reporting for social media, especially for executives.

Executive visibility plan development and execution.
-
Daring, collaborator, teammate and individual contributor.

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, to engage senior Company leadership, external media and other critical company partners.

Strong project management skills, with ability to build and track timelines, keep projects moving.

Strong compassionate orientation and high level of personal caring. Unquestionable integrity.

Food & beverage/CPG experience a plus.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$88,000.00 – $110,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
