JOB TITLE: Lab Technician

WAGE: $25.17 – $25.89
SHIFT/HOURS: B Crew / 1800-0600
BUSINESS PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Analyze and perform various types of automation, manual titration on all instrumentation.
Proficient in all types of lab testing.
Sufficient in all quality systems.
Basic knowledge of microbiology testing.
Provide statistical data to team/group

Deliver and complete all lab analytical testing in a timely manner.
- Proficient in all laboratory testing which may include, but not limited to; pH moisture, fat, grading, and lactose.
- Transfer data into SAP/Quality Suite systems
- Maintain good record keeping and documentation.
- Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document
- Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
- Fluent in searching EQCMS database for documents and specifications

Develop capability and effectiveness of the team.

- Capability to place material on and off hold in SAP
- Understand and accountable for the KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, involvement in process improvements, etc.
- Update work instructions
- Proficient Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Lead problem-solving activities.
- Must be able to investigate/troubleshoot all information that is OOS or noncompliant with company standards.
- Basic understanding of calibration process for instrumentation devices.
- Implement new 5S strategies within workflow of daily activities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, ascending, and descending moves up to 50 pounds.
holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassemble
and reassemble equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE ROLE
- Indoor – mix of cool and room temperature environment.
