Job Description
The responsibilities include:
- Scoping, designing, and implementing Electrical and Automation projects to improve the performance of equipment, services, and infrastructure utilised in the manufacturing of food and beverage products.
- Scoping, designing, and implementing Electrical and Automation projects which drive cost savings for materials, utilities, labour and reduce environmental, health, safety, and food safety risk.
- Prepare and manage all financial aspects of Electrical and Automation projects.
- Writing clear engineering corporate governance documentation highlighting project deliverables, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Demonstrate the ability to articulate project requirements to a diverse audience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting Procurement Department with negotiations and contract agreements.
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S and food safety policies.
- Using your experience and understanding of engineering processes to critically analyse and challenge the status quo.
- Managing capital projects from conception through to completion in compliance with Kraft Heinz Management Systems.
About you:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical or associated Engineering classifications.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG experience advantageous).
- Knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to Industrial / Manufacturing electrical installations and electrical safety.
- Experience and knowledge in Electrical Automation and Control Systems Integration (Rockwell Automation Devices and Applications knowledge will be advantageous).
- Experience in machine and equipment electrical safeguarding standards, applications, and implementation.
- Experience with industrial network protocols and their integration with the operational technology (OT) equipment (Ethernet/IP, DH-485, and DH+).
- Experience in the selection and operation of instrumentation equipment including but not limited to flow, pressure, level, and temperature.
- Proficiency in developing and writing project specifications and scope of works documentation.
- Competence in reviewing Vender proposals, preparing evaluations, and providing recommendations.
- Proven experience in project implementation, testing and commissioning.
- Inspect and review installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and standardisation and machine safety standards.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Proven record of successfully managing several projects simultaneously.
Advantage:
- An Australian Electricians Licence (preferably Queensland Electrical Licence) may be advantageous.
