About the Role

Job Description

Job Purpose

This role will be the team's data analytics expert specifically for our internal Retail Execution team. This role will need to take large data sets and break down the information to provide actionable insights to the team. Working across the Perfect Store & Execution team and customer business teams to visualize insights to drive actionable improvements. This role will report into the Perfect Store & Execution team and will need the ability to take high level direction back to produce results.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Conduct reporting to break down and provide analysis back to the business. This will consist of weekly and monthly reporting versus targets for consumption, distribution, innovation, and merchandising.

· Provide actionable strategic recommendations back to the business to improve results. Working with the strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI will be crucial in understanding these mass data sets and visualizing results.

· Finding patterns in data sets to communicate the results they find in a way that the business can understand.

· Interpret the business needs and be comfortable as a one-person show to go back and produce data that can help provide insight.

· Operating with ambiguity.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

· Strong drive for results

· Experience with relational database and SQL skills in Snowflake or other database platform and creating automated processes for data pulls and reporting

· Experience with creating interactive visualizations in Tableau and Power BI

· Experience in designing and delivering large cross functional custom reporting systems by collaborating with technical teams

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, look-up formulas) and PowerPoint

· Experience working with Python libraries like Pandas and Numpy to combine data from multiple sources and complete analyses

· Proven experience in BI/DW as a change leader providing strategic research, recommendations, and implementations

· Experience using Nielsen/Circana data

· Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload

· Experience in partnering with business owners to understand requirements, develop project timelines and deliver data sets or analysis on time

· Skilled at problem solving and idea leadership

· Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

· Superior interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation)

· Functional knowledge of Sales

· Intermediate understanding of the retail environment

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Remote based role that can be performed from a home office Additionally, this role requires work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

Employee’s Home – Geo

Base Salary Range: $85,400.00 – $106,800.00

Target Total Cash Range: $106,750.00 – $133,500.00

Target total cash represents this role’s annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
