Job Description
Summary:
Our IT team is looking for a candidate that will lead the end-to-end implementation of the SAP Ariba suite. They must possess previous SAP Ariba implementation expertise, as they will be the owner of the platform and technical architecture. We are looking for an individual that will lead teams of subject matter experts, system implementation consultants and contractors to scope, design, configure/develop and implement or integrate new or existing business systems solutions, based upon business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Interpret Business Needs
- Gain the trust and acceptance of the business as the technical SAP Ariba subject matter expert.
- Translate and interpret business & technical requirements, to support a solid architectural design and roadmap, while driving consensus and alignment across global teams.
- Work closely with product owners and platform mangers to improve the existing SAP Ariba platform, enhance, and implement new functionality.
- Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise solution design and change requirements.
- Participates in the solution roadmap and strategy in concert with business stakeholders to deliver the highest level of service and quality.
- Define detailed project/program timelines accounting for cross program impacts as well as business priority/conditions.
Apply Technology
- Full suite SAP Ariba Implementation experience, specifically in Ariba SLP, Sourcing, Contract Management, Spend Management, Buying and Supply Chain Collaboration
- Proficient experience and knowledge of the SAP Business Network (SBN) and CIG
- Design, development and/or configuration of technology solutions supporting PTP business processes.
- SAP MM, VIN, Vertex, OpenText working experience is a plus.
- Lead and deliver the KHC SAP Ariba vision within the Procurement space over the next 3-5 years.
- Analyze, optimize, and integrate seamless data flow across the unified SAP Ariba platform.
- Lead multiple projects and associated project workstreams in parallel.
Lead the Team
- Coach, manage, and mentor team members through regular one on one meetings and the performance management process.
- Leads teams of subject matter experts and consultants to support system implementation and all required deliverables from initial blueprint through testing and production deployment project phases.
- Engage and build relationships with senior level business stakeholders to ensure coordination and alignment with the business.
- Deliver the mid and long-term IT strategy within scope of responsibility with alignment to both the Business strategy and related functional IT organizations.
- Participate in the IT demand process, reviewing new requests, scoping, and leading them through the financial budgeting process.
- Maintain and develop relevant expertise in the domain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- Minimum 9-12 years of SAP Ariba related experience including:
- Project scoping
- Project management
- Requirements analysis/definition/mapping.
- Solution and process design
- Test planning and scenario creation.
- Experience with leading large-scale IT integration and transformation programs.
- Proven experience as the overall owner for large business facing systems projects in a project management / business facing role.
- Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
- Able to work in diversified and global teams, and to guide and motivate large project teams.
- Holds a big picture view of the company goals and vision, including end-to-end process knowledge.
- Executive maturity and strong business acumen/business savvy
- Superior relationship management skills (both internally as well as externally)
- Solid blend of business and technical capabilities, business operating models and underlying technical architecture
- Expertise with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with building / running high-performing project team.
- Assesses the technical impacts of process team strategies.
- Ability to travel as required by the project.
