Sr Finance Manager, M&A Integration & Separation Management at a Glance….
Kraft Heinz is an agile & innovative organization consistently seeking both organic & inorganic growth for our long-term success. Within the M&A Department, we have an internal team focused on the execution of those transactions to manage any appropriate separations or integrations. The Senior Finance Manager, Integration & Separation Management will report to the Head of Global M&A Execution and will need to establish and monitor adherence to project management structures, processes and tools across the team. The role will work with cross-functional teams to ensure management standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire project life cycle. The role will also support quality management activities and monitor timely delivery of all project deliverables. In times where M&A deals are not underway, this role can support the FP&A activities in the Global Team or various Zones, as well as one-off business case analyses. The position is based in the Chicago office.
What’s on the menu?
- Liaise with buyer/ seller during sign to close and any possible TSA period to design and execute comprehensive integration /separation plans
- Partner closely with buyers / sellers to ensure agreements with counterparties are upheld by the project team and Kraft Heinz at large
- Manage the deal timeline and hold teams accountable for delivering milestones
- Mobilize cross-functional teams to develop and execute against workplans to realize deal value
- Identify and problem-solve to mitigate risks and issues related to integration and separation
- Support the M&A Financial Role to manage the program’s one-time budget allocations as well as manage, track and report project financials
- Work with cross-functional teams and potentially external consultants to develop meeting materials and lead key forums and meetings involving senior leadership, buyer / seller, and workstream leads
- Responsible for preparing project status reports, ensuring quality and accuracy of information and engaging with workstream leads to ensure timely submission of status reports pertaining to critical project updates
- Own program management tools (Action item tracker, Key decision matrix, work plan development, etc.) that facilitate the risks, issues and change control processes
- Maintain a process to approve and track acceptance of agreed project deliverables in line with agreed Statements of Work for external consultants and vendors who we choose to partner with

- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable Project Management and project discipline experience, including relevant methodologies and tools
- Needs to be able to manage a budget, & exhibit a strong financial acumen; expertise in Excel is required, & experience in Visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
- Ability to anticipate potential challenges or risks and then propose and operationalize mitigations based on past experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with project team members across multiple disciplines as well as executives
- The ability to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time strongly desired; coupled with the ability to manage & handle confidential/sensitive information well
- Very strong detail orientation and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with both local and remote teams
