The positions
- Global Manufacturing Intern
- Global Manufacturing – EHS intern
Every internship at Kraft Heinz Netherlands offers unique learning opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, gain real business experience, get exposure to senior leadership and attend personalized trainings. As an intern you will take ownership of projects and work closely with the business on day-to-day challenges.
As EHS is a multidisciplinary function you also have opportunities to engage in interactions with other global leaders to mention some: Operational Excellence, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Food Safety and Quality.
In this roles you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development, training and deployment of the EHS Onboarding Process with the Global EHS community.
- The standardization of documentation to ensure compliance to the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) and external parties
- Taking a learning journey in business tools such as Microsoft SharePoint Creation and Management from basic to advance to support the EHS Global SharePoint Integration Project
- Supporting cross-zone EHS Team on the analysis of EHS events to gain understanding on EHS performances and developing high level insights for EHS Global Community
- Supplying to strengthen governance & controls of EHS process and routine
Qualifications:
Job requirements:
- You are enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
- You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master’s degree of EHS, Engineering, Sustainability or a similar background.:
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills are required.
- You are willing to learn business tools (such as Intelex, Canva, Tableau/ PowerBI, etc.) and how those tools integrate into other functional work processes.
- You have excellent social skills, to interact with different partners, as you’ll frequently be exposed to senior management.
- You are able to develop relationships with various team members from different functions, background and cultures.
- You are proactive, curious, and enthusiastic. You're not easily thrown off your game, not even when you get resistance.
- Ability to lead multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.
- Influencing skills and international business/cultural sensitivity
- You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Any other language is an advantage.
- NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).
Professional Attributes:
- Computer proficiency: including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: At Kraft Heinz you’ll easily be exposed to senior management, no matter your level. Therefore, it’s important you have excellent communication skills, to deal with all kinds of different team members.
- Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple. And to implement fast. Your ability to simplify will be highly appreciated, when you provide simple solutions dealing with sophisticated challenges.
- Analytical: We’re a very data driven company. You know how to translate complex data into a simple solution with your analytical attitude.
- Project management skills: Time management has no secrets for you. You’re organized, structured and always have an overview of all the results. You know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe.
- High pressure: You don’t get easily stressed by pressure; a demanding and dynamic environment is what keeps you energized.
- Team player: Self-motivated, flexible and a team player who likes to work with people within a multicultural environment.
- Eagerness to learn about Supply Chain & Logistics in an international, fast-moving environment.

What we offer you
Program start date: February 2025.
Duration: 6 months.
Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses.
Location: Amsterdam.
This is a hybrid position, you will need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship.
