About the Role
Job Description
- Owns/leads results for clean inspect and lube (CIL), centerline management system (CLM), 5S system, daily problem handling (RCFA), defect handling, integrity of process data.
- Participates in annual planning, PDCA meetings, and daily performance meetings (DPM), internal audit programs, food safety committee, and sanitary design team.
- Works with Process Owners and Maintenance Lead to address sporadic losses.
- Develop control strategies, work instructions, One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Coaches and develops teams by building problem solving skills within the process.
- Facilitates the warehouse loss analysis (waste/scrap elimination, yield improvement, receiving and shipping efficiency) and throughput improvement plans.
- Spends time on the floor to gather information on stops, centerlines, changeovers, receiving, and shipping over the past 24 hours to establish countermeasures and create the plan for the day.
- Complies with all established GMP, QRMP, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Willingness to become Green Belt qualified within one year.
- Capable of learning intermediate Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Matrics, SAP, and ZPI skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
40 hours per week/8 hours daily/5 days pers week, working overtime as required.
Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts as required. (Work is indoors, Primary production floor is wet, Secondary locations are occasionally wet, seasonal climate).
Must wear following PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): (bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, slip resistant shoes (safety shoes), hairnet, ear plugs).
Prolonged periods working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Six Sigma Experience desired.
- Associate or bachelor's degree desired.
