About the Role
Job Description
The C-shift drop room Team Member is responsible for general duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. Additionally, this individual must possess a safety and quality-oriented mindset and be willing to work in a team-oriented – fast paced – refrigerated environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Operator hose in room while soaping and sanitizing.
- Opens each cargo bin to prepare for sanitation.
- Cleans each black cargo bin.
- Hoses the floor.
- Removes cargo bins form the bin wash and stages in the RTE corridor.
- Bring clean black cargo bins into room and stage them on the scales or in the room.
- Places plastic shrouds into the bins. Then guides the stick meat in the cargo bins.
- Place appropriate lid onto the cargo bin then complete all necessary paperwork.
- Remove cardboard bins from pallet and fold at the appropriate creases to make a box. Remove cardboard lids and fold in the appropriate creases and tape on each corner.
- Bring cardboard bins into the room and place plastic shrouds inside of bin. Set bin directly under the conveyor and guide the stick meat into the bin. Place lid on top of cardboard bin and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a meat-processing/raw foods environment.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment including lift up to 50lbs (bend/carry/push/pull) and be able to do so continuously throughout an 12-hour shift; ability to stand for an entire 12-hour shift.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures/wet environment working conditions.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Processing and handling of raw meat including beef pork and poultry
- Must be able to follow directives to ensure quality product while maintaining safety standards.
- Troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Daily sanitation work and cleaning.
- Processing of regulated documentation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 18-years of age
- 1-year of continuous prior employment
- Prior Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Able to stand for entire 12-hour shifts
- Able to work in cold/wet environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, carry, push, and pull
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have a valid State-issued photo ID
- Must have reliable transportation for any possible shift
- Anyone hired for this position will be required to remove all jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes and nail polish (even clear) before starting employment. This is to ensure the safety of our workforce and our products.

C-Shift 5am-5:30pm
D-Shift 5pm-5:30am
