About the Role
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our global sustainability team as an intern for Summer 2024. This position will provide support on various projects including conducting research and analysis related to sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CDP, DJSI, ESG); tracking progress towards our 2030 goals; updating our corporate sustainability website; and engaging with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for various sustainability initiatives.
· Support internal communications related to sustainability initiatives.
· Update and maintain corporate sustainability website.
· Engage with external stakeholders to capture feedback and communicate information regarding our sustainability efforts.
· Conduct research on industry trends and emerging best practices.
Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university or college pursuing a degree in business, engineering, environmental science, marketing, public relations, or other relevant field.
· Interest in sustainability/ESG.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Available for full-time employment upon graduation.
Program start date: January 2025
Duration: 6 – 6.5 months (for 40 hrs a week)
Location: Amsterdam.
Please note that you do need to relocate to the Netherlands for the internship (if not already there).
Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days), a company provided laptop, full reimbursement of travel expenses to the office, as well as reimbursement to improve your work from home environment.
