Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Lead to make a significant impact at Kraft Heinz!
This role lies within the Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) Headquarters business unit, based in Amsterdam and London. As Heinz Brand Lead, you’ll spearhead the development and execution of the Heinz brand strategy across the zone, ensuring alignment with global goals while inspiring teams and driving creative excellence. You will also lead a team of two direct reports, including a Senior Brand Manager and a Marketing Coordinator, to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
In brief, you will be taking ownership of:
Brand Strategy
- Defining and delivering the Heinz EPDM strategy to build a strong brand vision.
- Identifying key ‘jobs to be done’ for the brand and developing communication strategies to address them, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Embedding the Heinz brand strategy across EPDM by working closely with markets, global teams, and partner agencies to ensure strategic alignment during planning cycles.
- Inspiring and fostering collaboration across central growth & innovation teams, local markets, and partner agencies to deliver on brand plans.
Creative Excellence
- Leading the communication and activation agenda for Heinz across EPDM, elevating creative output and ensuring consistency with global brand guidelines.
- Managing the end-to-end creative process for zonal workstreams, from briefing and idea alignment to execution.
- Delivering creative toolkits to local markets for adaptation and acting as a strategic advisor to ensure local execution aligns with brand strategy.
- Establishing best practices to enhance creative impact, driving growth and achieving recognition at industry festivals such as Cannes and Effies.
Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have a Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and brand building within FMCG environments
- Regional or global experience, with familiarity in European market dynamics.
- A track record of developing brands with clear strategy and purpose.
- Strong leadership and vision-setting skills, with a focus on results.
- Exceptional communication and influencing abilities within a matrix organization.
- High emotional intelligence to build effective relationships and lead teams.
- Comfort working in ambiguity, leading change, and driving transformation.
- Expertise in brand communications, including strategy development, agency management, and media planning.
- Expertise in storytelling with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
