Job Description
- Pay Scale $34.70 without Shift Premium.
- Shift Premium of $.75/hr on 2nd shift & $1.00/hr on 3rd shift.
- Hourly Bonus Program
Responsibilities:
1. Function as Shift Coordinator.
2. Monitor MATRICS to ensure tasks are created for associates.
3. Act as IL6S Huddle leader daily.
4. Monitor task queues to insure timely completion of activity.
5. Complete audits, shift recap, security check as needed, and contact maintenance if repairs are needed. Maintain a log of daily obstacles.
6. Monitor associate job assignments and adjust associates task to maintain high shift efficiency.
7. Makes changes to procedures to maximize productivity output.
8. Direct the flow of work for the shift.
9. Function as a first point contact for any systems and inventory issues.
10. Position may assist in Inventory Cycle Counts and perform Verifications to ensure accuracy and to maintain utilization of distribution storage areas.
11. Must be able to operate Fork Truck and perform all distribution duties. (Loading, Picking, Line Trucking, Inbounding, and the Hi-Rise)
12. Print and process all related paperwork to insure compliance of corporate transportation policies.
13. Ability to communicate with Kraft Foods helpdesk in order to prevent or resolve issues with Kraft Foods WMS.
14. Other duties as assigned by Distribution Staff.
15. Key player in the ongoing financial success of the department.
16. Manage the safety and security of all employees.
Qualifications:
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Handle complexity, determine priorities and meet deadlines.
• Lead a team in a fast paced constant changing environment.
• Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers.
• Intermediate knowledge of distribution operations.
• Ability to learn various WMS systems.
• Must be Fork Truck Licensed through Kraft Champaign Safety Program.
• Understand all functions of receiving, distribution, receipts, picking, replenishments, loading and customer service.
• Prior experience in inventory management, transportation, warehouse functions, and use of WMS systems.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work holidays and overtime as needed.
