About the Role
Job Description
We're seeking a dedicated Accountant to support our finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
What You’ll Do:
1. Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently by verifying necessary documentation and supporting
2. Reconcile AP and handle discrepancies with third party vendors
3. Reconcile intercompany accounts and handle discrepancies
4. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available
5. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
6. Assist in conducting internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
7. Assist in external audit procedure
8. Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of issues
9. Suuport marketing budget creation and changes
10. Lead marketing expense reports and communication with stakeholders
What You Bring:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Previous experience of 2 to 3 years
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
4. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, blackline)
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
10. Arabic is a plus
