Job Description
As the Senior Manager of Business Development for Away from Home (AFH) Equipment, you will spearhead the ideation, strategy, and execution of AFH Equipment initiatives. This team is at the forefront of driving growth by delivering innovative equipment solutions that elevate the value, functionality, and consumer experience of Kraft Heinz products—particularly condiments—in out-of-home settings. In this entrepreneurial role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of equipment projects, from concept design to commercialization. Combining strategic vision with hands-on execution, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers to develop and scale equipment solutions that complement our product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include leading and developing your team, managing vendor partnerships, creating customer-facing materials, and executing budget strategies. Success in this role requires a self-starter with a strategic mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver results through innovation and collaboration in a dynamic marketplace.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Identify and deliver innovations that align with product-market fit, evaluating desirability, viability, and feasibility.

Develop and execute strategic plans, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Legal, and Procurement.

Foster consistent progress by driving initiatives forward daily.

Partner with third-party vendors to build and deliver equipment solutions, influencing their capabilities to meet business needs.

Manage, develop, and support two direct reports, fostering growth and accountability.

Lead team on equipment forecasting, planning, supply chain, and manufacturing processes to ensure seamless execution.

Integrate insights from Sales and Marketing into monthly business cycles to improve equipment demand sensing and efficiency.

Integrate equipment forecast and sales pipeline into product forecasting process

Develop performance metrics to enhance visibility and drive data-informed decision-making across platforms.

Oversee supply chain losses by coordinating action plans with sales and addressing forecast gaps with supply chain team.
Expected Experience & Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, though candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.

Minimum 5 years of experience in product innovation, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or related fields, ideally in the Away from Home/Foodservice or restaurant industry.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage direct reports, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Ability to simplify complex challenges, evaluate impacts, and provide long-term strategic guidance.

Strong capability to interpret data, develop insights, and drive actionable outcomes.

Skilled in prioritizing, managing multiple projects, and ensuring timely delivery.

Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create clear, impactful reports and presentations.

Ability to travel is required (approximately 35%)

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 – $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
