Starting Wage $30.91/hr PLUS $2/hr shift premium
3rd shift – 9pm to 5am
Summary Statement:
The ORM Coordinator supports all Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam Safety, Security and Environmental Programs. This role provides training to front-line employees and maintains and updates various databases, programs, and processes.
Primary Role and Responsibilities
Manages assigned safety programs such as lock out tag out, hearing conservation, chemical safety data sheets, behavior observation sheet program, etc.
Completes workplace risk assessments and reviews employee safety programs to determine their adequacy.
Conducts and coordinates front line worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
Maintains and applies knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial process.
Investigates accidents and injuries to determine causes and preventive measures and reports findings.
Inspects facilities, machinery, or safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and ensures safety regulation compliance!
Recommends procedures for detection, prevention, and elimination of physical, chemical, or other product hazards.
Compiles, analyzes, and interprets statistical data related to occupational safety.
Acts as a first responder to safety incidents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
- Multiple years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training is preferred.
- Must be Fluent in Spanish
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using the English language. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Mentoring and developing of Others – Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge and skills.
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

- Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Training and Teaching of Others – Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or mentoring others.
- Performing Administrative Activities – Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, processing paperwork, and using various computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in an office setting under varying temperatures with frequent standing and walking. You will be working around industrial equipment and required to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, or hard hats. Bending and twisting occasionally is required and possessing the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
