Work Schedule
Straight shift opportunities. 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (afternoons), 3rd shift (midnights)
Production:
Load, unload, move, pick, line pull and stage inventory of finished product. Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring accuracy. Labor Management Standards (LMS): All tasks performed are scanned to an indirect to evaluate individuals’ performance. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Assist with physical inventories, cycle counting and quality checks. Responsible for completing daily inspection log for equipment used during the shift. Responsible for reporting all malfunctions, noises, equipment defects to Maintenance, shift lead or supervisor for inspection and/or repair.
Maintenance:
Check fork trucks for safety defects. Have the ability to perform minor mechanical adjustments, such as changing the battery and adjusting the forks.
Quality:
Replace all damaged cases on loads. Responsible for knowing the bays and UPC Codes. Follow all OSHA, MSDS and Kraft Heinz standards.
Equipment Operated:
RF Equipment. Forklift, pallet stretch wrapping unit and mechanical docks. Matrics terminal.
Lifting Requirements:
Moderate lifting and moving of cased product and pallets. Must lift loads above 8 ft. with fork truck.
Working Conditions:
Moderate – As noise levels are below 90 decibels, no hearing protection is required. The cooler and dock temperature average 34 degrees F. Dry storage is maintained as 75 degrees F. The office is maintained at a comfortable level.
Training:
This individual must be trained and licensed to operate forklift equipment safely. In addition, employee must be able to operate Matrics system accurately.
