We have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level qualified lawyer to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz. The position of Legal Counsel, UKI and Nordics reports directly to the General Counsel, Northern Europe.
The purpose of the role is to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice to the Kraft Heinz UKI factories and Marketing teams, as well as ongoing support to the Kraft Heinz Nordics business.
The role sits within the wider Europe & Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) Zone Legal Team and from time to time may also support on EPDM Zone projects.
What you’ll do
The Legal Counsel, UKI will be a key business partner in the Kraft Heinz UKI Business Unit and will cover a variety of areas, including:
- General commercial contracts
- IP & brand portfolio law
- Competition law
- Company law
- Data protection
- Consumer, media and advertising
- Regulatory/Compliance
- Corporate Housekeeping/Company secretarial support
What you’ll need
- UK qualified with a minimum of 4+ years’ post qualification experience as a commercial lawyer (Contract drafting, IP, Consumer and Regulatory law, Advertising, Claims development & ASA disputes experience desirable)
- Legal education and training in a leading law firm and/or company
- FMCG experience, particularly in Food and Drinks sector, desirable
- Strong legal judgment with the capacity to make decisions and give advice that reflects an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation
- Research and drafting skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a non-legal audience
