What’s on the menu?
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance efforts within the Velveeta production area. The ideal candidate will be a resource to the Process Owner, other technicians, and the respective Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance issues including capital projects. Planning and scheduling maintenance work for all trade groups, identifying, and ordering key material to complete the job.
Job Responsibilities:
The individual must delegate and assign work orders and PMs within the area as needed. This person will be the designated KHMS Maintenance Lead for assigned area(s) and lead RCFA efforts inside of the production area. Partake and lead KHMS requirements; including but not limited to attending/leading L2 & DPM meetings, 5s/CIL/CLM initiatives, assist in implementing KHMS trainings to Trio.
Provide a high level of service for customers and focus on ways to improve the service of the maintenance team. Perform daily responsibilities in a team environment. Build, audit, correct, and standardize PM procedures in the SAP system.
- Audit and correct part-stocking issues with MRO and identify necessary parts/updates on PMs.
- Work with vendors for cost analysis.
- Champion computerized maintenance systems and provided training when needed (i.e., SAP, CWP, etc.) Monitor and drive KPIs.
- Assist in handling maintenance activities, continuous improvements ideas, and solving problem areas.
- Own the equipment planning/PM process within the production area.
- Work with logistics and manufacturing to schedule appropriate people and resources when equipment is not in use.
- Cover Saturday setup work as a Planner – 7-week rotation
- Execute daily huddle with Line Tech staff & Process Owner
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong maintenance background with at least two years’ maintenance experience.
- Basic computer skills and strong organizational skills.
- Must possess good knowledge of plant maintenance with the skills to learn all types of maintenance systems (i.e., electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and prioritize multiple complex tasks.
- Must understand the scheduling process to business needs.
Safety/Lifting Requirements:
Moderate: Ability to handle medium weight materials; 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100lbs infrequently.
