About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Development Analyst (m/f/d) at Kraft Heinz in Düsseldorf! In this position you will report to the Category Development Lead and you are the key interface between Marketing, Sales, Field Sales and our retail customers. This role will drive communication, reporting visibility and actionable shopper insights to aid decision-making and identify the most optimal pathway for future Category and Kraft Heinz growth.

Your tasks

Annual and Long-Term Planning

  • Develop the AOP on your categories, balancing current performance goals with future growth potential and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create and update 3- to 10-year strategic category growth plans, aligning with market trends and Kraft Heinz’s long-term objectives.

Performance Review

  • Own and build MPRs on your categories, providing clear insights on category performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Connect with Execution KPIs (Distribution, SOS, and others)

Forecasting and Strategic Planning

  • Deliver accurate long-term forecasts, adjusting to shifts in market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead category vision setting, establishing a clear path for growth aligned with both customer and Kraft Heinz objectives.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ year’s Category Development experience / Ideally with large FMCG desired
  • Customer-facing experience (favored in the retail sector)
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point required
  • fluent in English, German is a plus
