About the Role
Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and experienced manager to lead the standardization, optimization, and governance of material and product specifications across our international portfolio. The Global FSQ Product Data Senior Manager is critical in driving quality, consistency, regulatory compliance, and operational agility throughout the complete product data lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a data enthusiast with deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a drive for data integrity in a complex, multi-region organization.
What's on the Menu?
1. Implement global standards and processes in relevant systems to ensure high quality, reliable product data.

Lead governance for the development and maintenance of specifications over approximately 800 International projects, including ~1500 raw materials, ~1800 packaging components, and ~8000 formulations and finished product specifications per year

Ensure specifications meet or exceed internal standards and external customer requirements

Function as the escalation point for complex specification issues, providing expert guidance and swift resolution in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Champion best practices and continuous improvement in specification management.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on the development and execution of a robust product data roadmap;

Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements and expanded capabilities

Serve as the key liaison for standardization initiatives, process improvements, and increased data integrity across the digital framework

Lead cross-functional projects required to implement regulations, corporate policy (ESG), compliance plans and internal process initiatives across the organization pertaining to product data.
3. Oversee the creation and maintenance of training programs, tools, and documentation.

Ensure consistent understanding and execution of specification management across relevant functions and regions

Develop comprehensive onboarding materials, in collaboration with cross-functional partners, in the specification creation and approval process

Assess training effectiveness to continuously improve training materials and methods
4. Develop KPIs related to specification completeness and accuracy

Set clear objectives and monitor regularly to provide feedback and direction to cross-functional teams

Oversee the development and implementation of corrective actions or improvements when necessary.
5. Lead a team of product data experts across multiple regions;

Develop a high-performing product data team through strategic direction, mentorship, and day-to-day leadership

Foster strong collaboration across regions

Manage workload and priorities by balancing project demands

Drive accountability to global standards and organizational goals

I have 5+ years experience in a leadership role managing specifications or quality systems at a global or regional level

I demonstrate success in implementing and running specification databases or digital platforms

I possess excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and lead across functions and geographies

I have a strong understanding of data management frameworks

I am familiar with relevant data standards (GS1) and industry trends

I am able to think critically with demonstrated intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem solving, and strong diagnostic skills

I have strong leadership and communication skills
-
I am detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc.; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires 40 hours/week schedule, 5 days a week.
