Role
The Network Design Manager is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and data driven individual to be a part of the Kraft Heinz’s transformation journey. The individual will work within a top performing Global team to design best-in-class end-to-end supply chain strategies for the North America business. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying opportunities to optimize supply chain network, supporting strategic decisions on manufacturing and distribution and building cross functional collaboration initiatives. This is a key role in driving operations results for the business by managing projects and leading routines to improve network performance. This highly motivated individual will support executive leadership strategic decision-making by providing recommendations through cost, capacity and service analysis.
Primary Responsibilities

Manage manufacturing and distribution footprint projects, including coordinating cross-functional teams and modeling complex networks

Develop and run optimization models (with Llamasoft software or similar)

Assess end-to-end supply chain network capacities and capabilities

Drive business recommendations with operational, financial and social impacts

Identify and support the implementation of supply chain efficiencies projects

Be the point of contact for the BUs, supporting the qualification of CAPEX projects related to Capacity and Innovation packages above Global threshold

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams globally, across zones, and countries, including commercial, operations, logistics, finance, procurement, and HR, to drive network design initiatives

Share guidelines, coordinate and oversee execution of Capacity Strategic Plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities

Serve as part of the center of excellence for network knowledge and recommendations
Qualifications
-
+5 years of work experience, with prior work in footprint optimization, strategic planning, supply chain management or supply chain finance in FMCG environment

Experience in data-analytics, optimization and simulation projects

Experience with tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server, Python, Llamasoft is a plus

B.A or B.S. or M.S. Degree in Engineering/Operations Research/Supply Chain Management/Business Analytics

Demonstrate proficiency in analytical skills, modelling, problem solving and critical thinking

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and create well rounded messages from data assessment

Highly motivated, curious, and well-organized

Quick learner and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
Job Location: Chicago, Aon
New Hire Base Salary Range:
$100,000 – 120,000 USD
