Associate Manager, IT – Transportation at a glance…
You will be responsible for IT activities related to Transportation processes in the areas of deployment Optimization, Transportation Planning, Carrier Integration and Execution. You will focus on the delivery of the Core solution in SAP ECC/S4 HANA and its integration with applications in Transportation space. You own configuration of the global core solution in ECC/S4 HANA and associated tools for Order Management, Deployment Optimization, Direct Procurement, and Intercompany transfers in relation to Transportation system.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture business requirements, translating them into effective systems design and implementation

Provide direct leadership for external contractors overseeing systems project management, implementation, and integration

Communicate comprehensively on all aspects related to systems and projects to senior leadership

Lead joint project teams in shaping solutions for systems enhancement
-
Provide expertise in sales order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery within the SAP SD module
-
Provide technical oversight for configuring and customizing SAP SD modules to align with business-specific processes and optimize system performance
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, to address technical requirements and integrations, ensuring data consistency across the transportation systems landscape
-
Handle system testing, identifying, and resolving defects to ensure smooth project implementations
-
Act as the primary point of contact for project issue identification and resolution
-
Take the lead in on-site project hyper care coordination and issue resolution to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state business operations
-
Document and maintain the project plan using the appropriate tool (Project NOW)

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

I have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
-
I have been part of Implementing large-scale integration and transformation programs in OTC/STP and ERP systems, and I'm adept at blending business and technical capabilities to bridge end-to-end processes, operating models, and technical architecture.

I have experience conducting project scoping, project management, requirements analysis/definition/mapping, solution, and process design, as well as test planning/scenario creation for large-scale programs, including budgeting and forecasting.

I have knowledge of SAP SD configuration, customization, and integration, particularly with transportation management systems (TMS)
-
I am proficient in business processes related to sales and distribution.

I have experience working with systems landscapes that include Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

I am proficient in conducting hands-on investigations into end-to-end IDoc processing, collaborating seamlessly with middleware teams.
-
I have the ability to travel as required for projects (~20%).

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$84,000.00 – $105,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
